100 Word Challenge Week 4

“Oh no, we have PE now.” I said to my friend. “This is going to be a nightmare.” he replied. PE was always a nightmare with Mr. Johnstone. He always was so mean to the students. “Alright kids, don’t just stand there, 20 laps now!” Mr Johnstone bellowed. It took them 30 minutes before they finished half of the laps and Mr Johnstone called them over. All of them were huffing and puffing in exhaustion. “Johnny, could you please go have a break. You’ve worked hard.” Mr Johnstone said. I thought that’s really strange. All of the class looked at him like he was a mad man. I was about to ask him to repeat what he said, but he interrupted. “Well, don’t just stand there.” he said. I went over and sat down. “What do you think you are doing, sitting there?” Mr Johnstone said in rage. “But I didn’t understand the instructions.” I pleaded. “Enough.” he replied “200 laps, and don’t stop until you’ve finished.” I must of been daydreaming.

100 Word Challenge Week 3

I opened the door and entered. What stood before me was amazing creatures with all different vibrant colours shining out so you couldn’t miss it and mutant creatures with six legs. A weird four-legged creature crawled up to me. “Hey there little buddy.” I said “What are you?” The creature said “Oinoof” “Oh you are a pig mixed with a dog.” I replied in realisation. Suddenly a human walked up to me and I backed away in fear in not knowing who they were. But the human walked up to me and shook my hand. “What’s your name?” the person asked. “Craig.” Out of nowhere every creature swarmed me like a nest of bees. I ran. “Wait, Craig, wait, Craig, Craig, Craig, Craig wake up!” My eyes jolted open and I sat up in my bed. It was a dream.

100 Word Challenge Week 2

It was the day I had been waiting for. The day that I had been constantly worrying about. Will it arrive? Will it not arrive? I got up out of my bed and went outside to the kitchen to find my mum standing waiting for me. She was holding it. Is that my clothing parcel I’ve been waiting for? “When did it arrive?” I said. She replied “This morning when I woke up I saw it.” I grabbed it and it felt unusually heavy. I put it to my ear and heard an interesting ticking sound. I smelt it and it smelled like metal. Even more unusual. I checked the address from where it had come from. Nothing. There was also not our home address, where it had been delivered. Then it struck me. Could this be something dangerous?!
