100 Word Challenge Week 10

Lights, camera, action. Lights flooded the stage and suddenly the black, boring platform in the auditorium seemed alive. I seemed alive. Music started and a melodious, bright melody on a cello filled what seemed like a empty space, now a room full of emotions and feelings. I edged forwards on my seat. All out of the blue a very bulky, muscular man strided onto the stage. A princess appeared up high in a castle. “But how did she get up there?” I wondered. “I will save you!” he boomed. “Watch out, there’s a dragon over there!” the damsel in distress cried in sadness. The dragon swiped at him.

Weekly Reflection Week 7

What I learnt this week: I learnt this week about analogies and what they mean. I also started on making a analogy. I also learnt more about masculine and feminine words in french. What to work on: I am going to work on next week to chatter less in class time. Highlights: This week was a hectic week and I went down to Hereworth for tennis. The billeting experience was great and now I have had two billeting experiences. It was really fun and enjoyable. I can't wait for the weekend!

100 Word Challenge Week 9

The dreaded day had come. Today me, and mum had to go to an open day tour at Northbowl School. We got there and we started the tour. Ten minutes of walking around with boredom I had, had enough. It was too much to handle. “Mum, I want to go home.” Surprisingly my mum replied “Sure dear, let’s go home.” Just as we were going to leave something caught my eye. A teacup dug into the ground sparked my interest. I walked over to the teacup sensing that this was very peculiar. I inspected it and decided to push the bottom of the teacup. It opened. I crawled inside.

100 Word Challenge Week 8

It was our rugby final. Our whole team was ready for the game. We went to our formation and the starting whistle went. The opposition caught it and suddenly our big, meaty captain ran straight at the opponent. He crouched down and tackled. Suddenly you could hear a massive splitting sound. Someone screamed. “Look” someone said. The opposition's sprig had dug into our captain’s leg and there was a big, deep gash. Quickly our coach said “I’ve got it, I’ll rip open the cut and it will help.” My gut knew this was wrong but I went along with it anyway. The next I saw our captain. His leg was amputated because there was too much blood coming out. But what if I was in charge? I could have saved his leg.
